So you think The Help is a good movie.

The first time I was made aware of the Help, was over the lawsuit surrounding this woman, and the ethical complications of “borrowing” a person’s identity/likeness for profit. NPR did a really interesting panel discussion about the case involving a few female writers of color. Fast forward to a year later, when a major motion picture where white people save the day sprung from it, I wondered whether the situation had been resolved in a just manner.
